Our Mission
Against Animal Cruelty Today exists to protect animals through education, prevention, and community action. We empower young people to recognize cruelty, speak up for animals who cannot defend themselves, and create safer communities where every pet is treated with care and respect.

What We Stand For
1. Awareness
We teach the public how to identify signs of neglect and abuse, understand why cruelty happens, and know how to report it safely. Knowledge saves lives, and we believe every person should know how to help an animal in distress.
2. Prevention
By partnering with shelters, trainers, veterinarians, and schools, we help families learn responsible pet care. Our goal is to stop cruelty before it starts by giving communities the tools they need to support their pets confidently.
3. Youth Leadership
AACT is youth-led for a reason. Young people have the passion and courage to spark real change. Through our chapters, events, and outreach campaigns, we help students become strong advocates and compassionate leaders.
4. Community Support
We work directly with local shelters and rescues to supply needed items, raise funds, and support their life-saving work. Every donation, volunteer hour, and event helps us create a safety net for vulnerable animals.
5. Taking Action
When we see cruelty, we act. When we see suffering, we step in. When communities need education, we show up. Our mission is rooted in the belief that kindness must be practiced, shared, and lived every day.

Our Promise
AACT is committed to creating a future where fewer animals suffer and more families experience the joy of safe, healthy companion animals. We stand for compassion, accountability, and action. Together, we are building a world where cruelty has no place and every pet has a chance to thrive.
